What Are The Services We Provide?

Driving Test Macarthur teaches people to drive a motor car in a safe and competent manner.

In order to achieve this, it is necessary to meet the student at their current skill level and then progress with the training from that starting point.

The teaching process is dependent on what level the student has reached, their progress made, and the skills they have, in learning to drive a car.

The Students generally fit into one of three categories by driving test Macarthur–

1. Completely new driver.

(here the student has little or no driving experience whatsoever). this means the training will start with the first of the driving competencies–preparing to drive then vehicle controls and then moving off and stopping.

2. The intermediate level student.

(here the student has a reasonable skill level, but needs training in some specific areas of the driving competencies.)

3. The advanced student.

(here the student has completed all or most of the driving competencies and just needs some fine tuning in their preperation for their forthcoming driving test. In order to be classified as a competent driver of a motor car, there are 20 driving skills a student needs to achieve, which are listed below—

Once the student has reached a satisfactory skill level in all of the above categories

I will then consult with the student to book a suitable date for a driving test with the Road & Maritime Services Authority.

I will then accompany the student to the RMS on the day of their driving test if they decide to book a lesson & test with the driving school in which case they will use the car provided by the driving school for the test.

Sometimes the advanced student has already booked their driving test and will book in some driving lessons to enable them to be competent enough to pass the driving test.

It can sometimes become necessary for the student to postpone the driving test to a later date to enable them to take more lessons to practice and improve their skill levels in order to be up to the required standard to be successful.

Summing Up

Our objective is to tailor the training process to suit the needs of the student, and then bring them up to the required competency level as is required by the Road & Traffic Authority Standards.

In the process, this will enable the student to pass a driving test, and then go on to be a safe capable driver of a motor car on our public roads.
